Body, Mind, Movement... Control.

In China, the practice of Internal Martial Arts is considered not only to be a dedication to the fighting arts, but also a dedication to one's life-long physical and mental well-being. The three famous Internal Martial Arts of China are Taijiquan (known for its slow moving forms and for its modern health benefits), Baguazhang (known for its Daoist practice of circle walking and holistic training approach) and Xingyiquan (known for its direct, hard-hitting approach to fighting).

Zong Wu Men Internal Fighting Arts specializes in teaching the arts of Baguazhang and Xingyiquan. There are many schools and teachers out there who might teach a few forms from these systems, or who have learned their styles from brief annual seminar courses. To the contrary, Zong Wu Men teaches the complete traditional systems of these highly regarded martial arts.

The head instructor, George Wood, has direct lineage from one of the world's foremost instructors in these systems, Master Luo Dexiu. Out of his over two decades of experience in the martial arts, George Wood spent over 6 years living overseas in Taiwan, learning these systems full-time through hands-on transmission. He is now one of the most knowledgeable practitioners of Baguazhang and Xingyiquan in the United States.
