Workout of the Day - 1
The Workout of the Day will always be something you can do at home, with little or no equipment other than your body.
Today, to get a sense of where you’re starting from, do as many consecutive repetitions of the following as possible:
Situps
Pushups
Bodyweight Squats
Handstand or Handstand Pushups
Pullups
These exercises are the most basic (and some of the most difficult) exercises out there. Every exercise or movement known to man is based on these fundamental movement patterns - Squat, Push, Pull, Twist/Bend, Walk/Gait. We hit all but the walk/gait in the above exercises.
Write the numbers down someplace, or post them in a reply to this blog. If you do the Workout of the Day every day, those numbers will increase over the course of the coming months…

Dude this rocks!! It’s like having our own personal Cross-fit on-line trainer. I’ve always wanted to try to work up to some of the work outs on the cross-fit web site. Now I don’t really have an excuse anymore. I’m definitely going to give this all a try. Hope to get into this ASAP and post my results.
keep up the awesome posts.

Hey there,
So i guess I have the honor of posting the first results. The good news? This should make everyone feel better about themselves. I’ve been training the xiantian and a some of the huotian but not really any conditioning so my results are borderline geriatric :p
I don’t have a spot for pullups because I’m training at home, due to time restrictions so here goes:
Pushups - 21
situps - 30 ( i hooked my feet under the couch and crossed my hands across my chest)
handstand (against wall) - 25 seconds
squats (I did the split squat) left side - 50, right side - 50
let me know if I should do these any other way. I guess my legs are pretty decent but the rest of the body needs some work. Hope some other folks bring up the courage to post too!!
Train on folks. See you all at Christmas Time

You have to start where you are! Thanks for posting, brave one!
Those numbers are actually really good. Keep up with the workouts every day, and in six weeks you should expect to double most of them.
